Prime-Age Labor Participation

While the headline unemployment rate is low, the percentage of prime-age men (25-54) participating in the workforce remains historically depressed.

In the 1960s, over 97% of prime-age men worked. Today, that number hovers around 89%. This missing labor represents a massive drag on GDP and a strain on social safety nets.
